South Coast: Home

South Coast iMag encompasses the area from Durras in the South to Shellharbour in the north and Kangaroo Valley in the west, including the towns of Berry, Nowra, Jervis Bay, Sussex Inlet and Ulladulla to name just a few.

The South Coast iMag is a monthly magazine aimed at guiding visitors to our region around the South Coast. The magazine consists of town descriptions, a useful map, tide char?t, what’s on & markets pages, wine trail, antiques and art guide, entertainment listings and other useful information about our history, shopping & attractions on the South Coast.

What’s on in the South Coast this month



4th September- Spring Fun & Food Fair
Held at the Catholic Church Grounds, St George Avenue, Vincentia from 8.30am to 1.30pm. Ph 4441 5723.
5th September-Bundanon Open Day
Open from 10.30am to 4pm every Sunday. Bundanon Rd, West Cambewarra. Ph: 4422 2100

5th September- Boyd Education Centre - The Grigoryan Brothers

9th & 10th Sept- Kiama Regional Wine Show
Held at the Kiama Pavillion the annual show aims to promote the emerging viticultural industry in the Shoalhaven Coast & Southern Highlands regions. The awards presentation and public tasting reception is held on the 10th Sept from 5:30pm-7:30pm, $20pp, over 18’s only. Tickets available from Kiama Visitors Centre.

12th September-Music Shoalhaven - Evgeniy Uhanov Piano

17th September- Shoalhaven Family History Fair
Held at the Bomaderry Bowling Club from 10am-3pm, with over 30 trade tables comprising family history and history groups and commercial enterprises from NSW & interstate that will be on hand to answer all your questions, free entry. Turn to pg 23 for more details or phone Joy on 4421 6055.


17th September-Meningococcol Foundation - Annual Photo Exhibition

18th & 19th September- Berry Antiques & Collectables Fair
An impressive showcase of antiques with around 20 dealers from all around the country. $7 entry fee for adults including a lucky door prize ticket, accompanied children are free. Held at the Berry School of Arts, Berry Ph Mick on 0428446 534 or turn to pg 2 in our magazine for info.

18th & 19th September- The NSW & ACT Association of Family History Societies annual conference

18th September- Shoalhaven Youth Orchestra 10th Birthday Concert
The Shoalhaven Youth Orchestra turns 10 and Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre will be the venue for a 10th Anniversary Concert.  Musical Director Jacqui Hitchcock is putting together a wonderful programme of music which combines some ‘old favourites’ as well as pieces not previously performed by the orchestra.  Of course no birthday party would be complete without cake, so you are invited to join us at the conclusion of the concert for a slice of SYO birthday cake! A  combined Exhibition and Sale of Shoalhaven Woodworkers, Nowra Spinners and Weavers and Shoalhaven Potters at the Shoalhaven City Arts Centre, 12 Berry Street Nowra.  Tue. to Fri. 10am to 4pm, Sat. 11am to 3pm.  Launch - Friday 24th Sept from 5pm to 7pm. Ph; 44478332


24th & 25th September- Shoalhaven Orchid Society Spring Show

26th September- Bike About
Venue: Start/Finish: Lake Illawarra Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC) Reddall Parade, Lake 6, 10 or both & rides on Shared Use Paths from Lake Illawarra PCYC around Lake Illawarra. A great family event raising rider safety awareness, prizes available. Jenny Davis on 02 4221 6124.

26th September-Muir House Berry - Art and Craft Open Day

Long Weekend in October- The Living Craft Expo

14th-17th October- Berry Gardens Festival
